Volunteers are a key factor driving the success of the Stanmore Music Festival. Volunteers who work on the day of the festival give their time to support stage management and, importantly, guide visitors to our many acts. Volunteering is an excellent opportunity to meet others in the local Stanmore community and be an integral part of the festivities and music throughout the day.

What to expect as a volunteer
Volunteers are required on 21 November 2026. We offer flexible options to volunteer on the festival day, and volunteers will be given several breaks to enjoy the music, grab a bite to eat, and perhaps meet with friends who have come along to see the acts!
Volunteers perform a variety of roles, including:
- welcoming visitors to the festival and guiding them to stages
- stage set up and pack up
- stage management
- stage management; and for those who enjoy public speaking, announcing acts.
An induction will be delivered to volunteers closer to the date of the festival.
Volunteers need to be:
- 18 years and over
- Flexible and reliable with a sense of fun
